Nidham respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal information. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you use our mobile application.
1. Information We Collect
Local Data: All lists you create and save within the app are stored locally on your device. This information never leaves your device unless you choose to share it manually.
Auto-List Generation Input: When you use the auto-list generation feature, the text you enter in the prompt box is sent to our Firebase server, which then relays it to the OpenAI API. The OpenAI API processes this request and returns a response in JSON format. This is the only information sent from your device to external servers.
Device Permissions: The app may request access to your microphone if you choose to use the voice-recording feature for generating lists. This audio is used only for transcription in real-time and is not saved or sent to our servers.
2. Information We Do Not Collect
We do not collect personal account information, location data, or any analytics data.
Voice recordings or transcriptions from the microphone are never stored or shared.
3. How We Use Your Information
Information sent to the OpenAI API is used solely to generate list content based on your prompt.
All other data remains on your device and is used only for the functionality of the app.
4. Data Sharing and Disclosure
We do not sell, trade, or otherwise share your personal information with third parties.
Information sent to the OpenAI API is processed by OpenAI and is subject to their privacy practices.
5. Security
All data stored locally on your device is under your control.
Data transmitted to Firebase and the OpenAI API is encrypted during transit.
6. Children’s Privacy
The app is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.
7. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last Updated” date will indicate the most recent update.
